INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup Oats (either regular or quick-cooking)
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- Salt
- ½ to ¾ cup Water (depending on how thick you like your oatmeal)
- Honey
- Fresh or dried fruit
- Nuts
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a microwave-safe bowl, mix the oats with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a dash of salt.
- If using regular oats, add water and microwave for three minutes; for quick-cooking oats, add boiling water and stir it in.
- Let the oatmeal rest for a minute or two.
- Drizzle the oatmeal with a bit of honey.
- Add fresh or dried fruit and nuts on top.
