I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

Spiedis, a traditional Italian dish, feature skewered and grilled meat wrapped in Italian bread, creating a flavorful and satisfying sandwich. This versatile recipe can be used with various meats such as pork, beef, lamb, venison, chicken, or turkey. The marinade infuses the meat with delicious seasonings, resulting in a mouthwatering meal.

Imagine succulent pieces of tender meat, marinated to perfection in a blend of aromatic herbs, tangy vinegar, and zesty spices. Each morsel is carefully threaded onto skewers, ready to be placed on a sizzling grill. As the flames kiss the meat, a tantalizing aroma fills the air, promising a taste sensation like no other.

While traditionally made with chunks of marinated lamb, they have evolved to include other meats such as chicken, pork, or beef. The marinade, a closely guarded family recipe in many households, infuses the meat with a harmonious blend of flavors, tenderizing and enhancing its natural juiciness.
