Iceberg Peach Smoothie

I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Iceberg lettuce
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Peach
  • 1 Brazil Nut
  • 1 Mango
  • 1 cup Kombucha
  • Hemp seeds (for topping)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash and chop the Iceberg lettuce, banana, peach, and mango into small pieces.
  2. In a blender, combine the chopped Iceberg lettuce, banana, peach, and mango.
  3. Add the Brazil Nut to the blender.
  4. Pour in the Kombucha.
  5. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and well-combined.
  6. Pour the smoothie into a glass.
  7. Top the smoothie with a sprinkle of hemp seeds.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing and nutritious smoothie!

 

  1. Tropical Green Smoothie: Replace the Iceberg lettuce with baby spinach or kale, use coconut water instead of Kombucha, and add chunks of pineapple and kiwi for a tropical twist.
  2. Berry Blast Smoothie: Swap the Iceberg lettuce with mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), use almond milk instead of Kombucha, and add a tablespoon of almond butter for a creamy texture.
