INGREDIENTS
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon finely ground espresso beans
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon raw sugar or dark brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 tablespoon ancho or New Mexico chile powder
PREPARATION
- In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well combined.
- Use the rub immediately or store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
