Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked turkey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the red and green bell peppers and mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the cooked ham and turkey to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the meat is heated through.
  5. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cream starts to thicken.
  6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it with the sauce to coat.
  9. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
