I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

Serves: 1

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 grated apple
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup water
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. raw honey

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a saucepan, cook the oats with the water for 3-5 minutes over medium heat.
  2. Add the grated apple and a dash of cinnamon to the cooked oats.
  3. Stir in the raw honey to sweeten the oats.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious apple cinnamon oats!

Here are some variations of the apple cinnamon oats recipe:

Nutty Delight:

Add a handful of chopped nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans to the oats for extra crunch and protein.

Berry Blast:

Mix in a handful of fresh or frozen berries like strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries to add a burst of fruity flavor.

Banana Bonanza:

Slice a ripe banana and mix it into the oats for a creamy and naturally sweet addition.

Coconut Dream:

Sprinkle shredded coconut on top of the oats to infuse a tropical coconut flavor.

Pumpkin Spice:

During the fall season, stir in some pumpkin puree and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice for a cozy autumn twist.

Chia Seed Boost:

Add a tablespoon of chia seeds to the oats for an extra dose of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.

Chocolate Indulgence:

Stir in a teaspoon of cocoa powder or chocolate chips for a delicious chocolatey version.

Peanut Butter Power:

Swirl in a spoonful of peanut butter to make the oats rich and satisfying.

Tropical Escape:

Mix in diced pineapple, mango, or kiwi to give the oats a tropical flair.

Protein-Packed:

Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder to the oats for an extra protein boost.

Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal:Add 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree and a pinch of pumpkin spice to the oats while cooking. Top with a drizzle of  maple syrup and a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds.

Banana Nut Oatmeal:Slice a ripe banana and stir it into the oats while cooking. Add a tablespoon of  chopped walnuts  or  almonds for extra crunch and nutty flavor.

Berry Burst Oatmeal:Mix in a handful of mixed berries, such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, while cooking  the oats. Top with a dollop of Greek yogurt and a drizzle of honey.

Coconut Mango Oatmeal:Stir in some diced ripe mango and shredded coconut to the oats while cooking.Sprinkle with toasted   coconut flakes before serving

Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal:Add a tablespoon of cocoa powder and a spoonful of peanut butter to the oats while cooking. Top   with sliced banana and a sprinkle of chocolate chips.

Apple Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal:Cook the oats with a grated apple and a handful of raisins. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and a   drizzle of honey.

Cherry Almond Oatmeal:Stir in dried cherries and chopped almonds while cooking the oats. Top with a drizzle of almond  butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon

Carrot Cake Oatmeal:Add grated carrots, a pinch of ground ginger, and a dash of vanilla extract to the  oats    while cooking. Top   with a cream cheese glaze made by mixing cream cheese with a little honey.
