Serving: 1

Minutes: 5

Ingredients: 6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 cups Strawberries (frozen)
  • 1 Banana (small, frozen)
  • 1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Almond Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Flax Seed
  • 1 1/4 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place the frozen strawberries, frozen banana, vanilla protein powder, almond butter, ground flax seed, and unsweetened almond milk in your blender.
  2. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!

Notes:

  • Nut-Free: For a nut-free version, you can use sunflower seed butter instead of almond butter and coconut milk instead of almond milk.
  • No Almond Milk: If you don’t have almond milk, you can use coconut milk or cashew milk as a substitute.
  • Smoothie Consistency: Adjust the consistency of the smoothie to your liking. If it’s too thick, add more almond milk or water. If it’s too thin, add some ice cubes and blend to thicken.
  • More Fiber: Boost the fiber content by adding chopped leafy greens like spinach or kale to the smoothie.
  • Protein Powder: This recipe was developed and tested using a plant-based protein powder.
