About

Brenda Gantt

I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

These moist Salisbury steak patties simmered in a flavorful gravy are a quick and satisfying meal. With the help of condensed French onion soup, this recipe comes together easily. Serve it over hot cooked egg noodles for a comforting dinner that’s ready in just 30 minutes.

Imagine sinking your teeth into a juicy, perfectly seasoned beef patty, seared to perfection, with its exterior boasting a mouthwatering caramelized crust. Each bite reveals a burst of savory goodness, complemented by the delectable onion gravy that enrobes the meat. The velvety texture of the gravy, infused with the sweetness of caramelized onions and savory undertones, adds a luscious and comforting element to this homestyle favorite.

This versatile dish can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of sides. Serve it atop a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, allowing the flavors to meld together and create a satisfying harmony. Alternatively, accompany it with buttered green beans or roasted vegetables for a complete and balanced meal that will please both young and old alike.
