About

Brenda Gantt

I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

Yield: 20 pieces, each with a trace of carbohydrates, a trace of fiber and 4 grams of protein.

INGREDIENTS

  • 20 chicken wing drumsticks
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Arrange the chicken wing drumsticks in a baking pan so that they are not touching.
  3. Combine the olive oil and crushed garlic in a bowl and spoon the mixture over the chicken drumsticks, making sure each piece gets a little of the crushed garlic.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste over the chicken drumsticks, and then sprinkle enough paprika to make them reddish all over.
  5. Roast the chicken drumsticks in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Then, turn them over and sprinkle the other side with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  6. Roast the chicken drumsticks for another 45 minutes to 1 hour, turning every 15 to 20 minutes until they are fully cooked and crispy.
