Pink Watermelon Margarita

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups chopped watermelon
  • Juice of 10 limes (¾ to 1 cup)
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 cup tequila
  • ½ cup Grand Marnier or triple sec

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon, lime juice, sugar, and ice and blend until smooth.
  2. Add the tequila and Grand Marnier or triple sec and pulse to blend. (If your blender is too small, pour the blended watermelon mixture into a pitcher and stir in the alcohol.)
  3. Fill tall glasses with more ice. Pour the margaritas over and serve.

TIP

  • To salt a glass, spread a thin layer of salt in a shallow dish. Moisten the edges of 4 glasses with a lime wedge and dip them in the salt. Tap the glasses to remove the excess salt, then fill them with ice and margarita mixture
