Lobster rolls are wonderful and fancy treat. Add this recipe in your lunch/dinner gathering and surely you will end up impressing your friends and family. It is all about quality and with few ingredients you can make an incredible roll. Lobster rolls are classic summer time recipe in New England or more like a classic summer feast. Made with chunks of lobster meat, mayonnaise, green onions and stuffed into hot dog bun with sprinkles of parsley on top it is an incredible treat for everyone. Lobster rolls have many variations but this one surely turns out amazing and makes you crave for more. This recipe of lobster rolls is a combo of Connecticut-style and Maine-style. In the first one melted butter is used for enhanced flavor while the later one uses lemony mayonnaise. Just get yourself out of the debate of which one is better and make yourself a combo of both and you will not regret it. Choosing the type of lobster depends on where you live. If you live on Eastern seaboard then you are lucky to have fresh caught lobster. Otherwise you can either order online or just buy frozen lobster. As it comes to the dressing; it is very simple yet flavorful. Do not overdo the mayonnaise, keep it light. Freshly squeezed lemon juice would be the best option to make lemony mayo dressing. Mixing the dressing with lobster meat cunt in cubes is quite a tricky work. You do not want to smash the meat so with light hands and folding movements mix so the meat gets coated without breaking apart. Before tossing the meat in the dressing gently warm it up in a skillet with melted butter. But remember to only cook slightly for 2 minutes. Do not overcook it and leave the juices dripped from meat during cooking in the pan because it will make the dressing watery. Serve the lobster rolls hot because at room temperature bacterial growth can start. The beauty of lobster roll lies in its simplicity. So try not to make it too much complicated.
