INGREDIENTS
- 2 pounds chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut in 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 can (15 oz) white hominy, drained
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (28 oz) tomatillos, drained and chopped
- 1 can (4 oz) mild green chiles
PREPARATION
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker; stir to blend all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours, or high for 4 to 4 1/2 hours.
- Serves 4 to 6.
