INGREDIENTS
- 2 pounds chicken pieces, skin removed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup ham strips
- 10 3/4 ounces condensed Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 teaspoon dried sweet basil
PREPARATION
- Brown chicken in butter; transfer to slow cooker.
- Brown ham and place on chicken.
- Combine remaining ingredients; pour over chicken and ham.
- Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours, or until chicken is tender.
