This is pretty obvious, but you can’t ignore a classic!
Yield: 1 serving, with 2 grams of carbohydrates, no fiber, and 32 grams of protein.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 to 3 ounces sliced or shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Colby, American, Swiss, Gruyere, Muenster, or whatever you prefer)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Make your omelet according to Dana’s Easy Omelet Method, placing the cheese over half of your omelet when you get to step 6.
- Cover, turn the burner to low, and cook until the cheese is melted (2 to 3 minutes).
- Follow the directions to finish making the omelet.
