However, the combination of creamy peanut butter, sweet corn syrup, crunchy cornflakes, and rich milk chocolate is sure to satisfy many sweet tooth cravings. Ingredients:

2 cups corn flakes cereal
2 cups rice krispie cereal
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions:

Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cornflakes and rice krispie cereal.
In a saucepan, heat peanut butter, corn syrup, sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal and mix until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press it evenly into the dish using a spatula.
In a double boiler or in a heat-proof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, melt the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips together until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal mixture in the baking dish and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top of the chocolate mixture.
Allow the mixture to cool completely, for about 2 hours.
Once cool, remove the Butterfinger bars from the dish and cut them into bars or squares.
