Hey, don’t look like that! Some of us love liverwurst!

Yield: 1 serving, with 4 grams of carbohydrates, a trace of fiber, and 19 grams of protein.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 ounces braunschweiger (liverwurst), mashed a bit with a fork
  • 2 or 3 slices ripe tomato

 

INSTRUCTIONS 

  1. Make your omelet according to Dana’s Easy Omelet Method.
  2. Spoon the mashed braunschweiger over half of your omelet.
  3. Top with the tomato slices.
  4. Over, turn the burner to low, and cook until heated through (2 to 3 minutes).
  5. Follow the directions to finish making the omelet.
