Avocado Kale Smoothie

I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Kale
  • ½ Avocado
  • 1 cup Cucumber
  • 1 Celery Stalk
  • 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
  • 1 cup Chamomile Tea
  • 1 tbsp. Spirulina

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash the kale thoroughly and remove any tough stems. Chop the kale into smaller pieces.
  2. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh.
  3. Peel and chop the cucumber into chunks.
  4. Rinse the celery stalk and cut it into smaller pieces.
  5. In a blender, combine the chopped kale, avocado, cucumber, and celery.
  6. Add the chia seeds, chamomile tea, and spirulina to the blender.
  7. Blend all the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  8. Pour the green smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.

 

Here are some variations of the green smoothie recipe:

1. Tropical Twist:

  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 cup Green Tea
  • 1 tbsp Spirulina

2. Berry Blast:

  • 1 cup Kale
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • 1/2 cup Raspberries
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Flaxseeds
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp Wheatgrass

3. Green Citrus Delight:

  • 1 cup Baby Spinach
  • 1 Orange (peeled and deseeded)
  • 1/2 Lime (peeled)
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1 cup Coconut Water
  • 1 tbsp Spirulina

4. Creamy Green Dream:

  • 1 cup Swiss Chard
  • 1/2 Pear
  • 1/4 cup Cashews
  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Soy Milk
  • 1 tbsp Chlorella

5. Minty Fresh Green Smoothie:

  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger (peeled)
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup Water or Coconut Water
  • 1 tbsp Spirulina

6. Peachy Green Delight:

  • 1 cup Baby Spinach
  • 1 Peach (pitted and sliced)
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds

7. Beet and Berry Blast:

  • 1 cup Beet Greens (or Baby Spinach)
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Flaxseeds
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp Wheatgrass

8. Creamy Mango Avocado Green Smoothie:

  • 1 cup Kale
  • 1/2 Ripe Mango (peeled and pitted)
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 cup Coconut Water
  • 1 tbsp Spirulina

9. Green Energy Booster:

  • 1 cup Baby Spinach
  • 1/2 Green Apple (cored and chopped)
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Coconut Water
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds

10. Creamy Coconut Green Smoothie:

  • 1 cup Swiss Chard
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Coconut Water
  • 1 tbsp Chlorella

  • 1 cup Baby Spinach
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Chunks

  • 1 cup Kale
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1/2 Lemon (juiced)
  • 1 cup Green Tea (brewed and cooled)
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds

13. Creamy Berry Kale Smoothie:

  • 1 cup Kale
  • 1/2 cup Mixed Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp Spirulina

  • 1 cup Baby Spinach
  • 1/2 Orange (peeled and segmented)
  • 1/2 Green Apple (cored and chopped)
