Who doesn’t like chilled margarita on a sunny day! It’s refreshing and runs some chilly breeze down your soul and of course hydrates you. The most popular cocktail in North America is margarita, for good reason. Tang of lime combined with sweetness of orange liqueur with unique strength of tequila this classic margarita rings all the right bells. However, its origin is less certain. Some say it was invented in Mexico while others link it to Spanish background. Regardless of its origin, margarita truly has earned a special place among cocktails, loved by everyone. Good tequila, fresh lime juice and orange liquor is you need to make this refreshing margarita. Perfect margarita is all about fresh flavor and ingredients. After all it is classic for a reason. It is so easy to prepare a glass of this cool and fresh heaven. You only need 3-4 ingredients, combine them together and there you go! Enjoy on a sunny day. After learning this recipe which is not at all hard you will not be needing those bottles mixes ever again. It has accurate ratios for a perfect glass of goodness. Although it is a simple recipe with such simple preparation, the one thing that matters is quality of ingredients you are using. You must use freshly squeezed lime juice and good quality tequila. For tequila opt for high quality Blanco. When it comes to orange liqueur you can replace it with agave syrup and it will make the Tommy’s Margarita that was created in early 90s at a Mexican restaurant. There is so much debate out there about which ingredient to add, which to omit, salt or no salt and you might get confused about which of these versions is actually good. Just try a few and pick your favorite. Here is the recipe of American style margarita.
