I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

Serves: 1

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tsp. olive oil or cumin oil
  • Lemon
  • Minced garlic
  • Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. of Spirulina, Chlorella, Maca, or Matcha (optional)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil or cumin oil with the juice of half a lemon. Adjust the amount of lemon juice to your taste preference.
  2. Add minced garlic to the bowl and mix well. The amount of garlic can be adjusted based on your preference for garlic flavor.
  3. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt, and again, adjust the amount to suit your taste.
  4. Optionally, you can add 1 tablespoon of your choice of superfood powders such as Spirulina, Chlorella, Maca, or Matcha. These powders will add extra nutrients and health benefits to the dressing.
  5. Stir the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  6. Use the dressing to drizzle over salads, steamed vegetables, roasted dishes, or any other meals you desire. Enjoy the flavorful and nutritious dressing!

Variations:

  10. Asian Ginger Dressing: Add freshly grated ginger to the dressing for a zesty and aromatic Asian-inspired twist.
  11. Lemon Herb Dressing: Combine the dressing with a medley of fresh herbs like thyme, oregano, and dill for a burst of herbal goodness.
  12. Spicy Sriracha Dressing: Stir in a small amount of Sriracha sauce or red pepper flakes to add a spicy kick to the dressing.
  13. Lemon Garlic Parmesan Dressing: Mix in some grated Parmesan cheese and minced garlic for a savory and cheesy dressing.
