Strawberry Tahini Overnight Oats

About

Brenda Gantt

I am a self-taught cook. I started cooking around 18 years old. I stood in the kitchen and watched my mother, who was my biggest inspiration at the time, cook.

Servings : 1

 Hours : 8

Ingredients : 6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 3/4 cup Plain Coconut Milk (from the carton)
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Tahini
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries (halved)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, coconut milk, chia seeds, tahini, cinnamon, and halved strawberries.
  2. Mix well until all the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge overnight or for at least 8 hours. This allows the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken the mixture.
  4. The next morning, remove the oats from the fridge.
  5. Give the mixture a stir to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  6. Enjoy your delicious and creamy Strawberry Tahini Overnight Oats!

NOTES:

  • Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to three days, making it a convenient breakfast option.
  • If you don’t have coconut milk, feel free to use any other dairy-free milk of your choice, such as almond milk or soy milk.
  • Don’t have tahini on hand? No worries! You can use any other nut or seed butter as a substitute, such as almond butter or peanut butter.
  • If you prefer your oats sweeter, you can add a drizzle of maple syrup or any other sweetener of your choice to enhance the flavor. Adjust the sweetness to suit your taste preferences.

Enjoy this wholesome and satisfying breakfast that’s packed with nutrients and flavor!
