INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small saucepan, heat milk, brown sugar, 4 tablespoons butter, and salt to 110°-115° Fahrenheit (about 43° to 46°C); set aside. This step ensures that the milk mixture is warm enough to activate the yeast but not too hot to kill it.
