INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Tbs Light margarine
  • 1 tsp Preminced garlic or 2 1/2 Cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 cup Cooked pasta of your choice
  • 3 oz Cooked shrimp
  • 1 tsp Dill
  • 1 tsp Parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a small saute pan, melt the light margarine over medium heat.
  2. Add the preminced or minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant and tender.
  3. Once the garlic and margarine are cooked, add the dill, parsley, and basil to the pan. Stir and blend the spices.
  4. Add the cooked shrimp to the saute pan and cook until the shrimp is warmed through.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the saute pan, tossing gently but thoroughly to coat the pasta with the flavorful mixture.
  6. Transfer the pasta with shrimp and garlic sauce to a warm serving plate.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the pasta dish according to your preference.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious pasta with garlic shrimp.

 

Note: Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste preference. Feel free to add additional herbs or spices for extra flavor.

 

Variation 1: Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbs Light margarine
  • 1 tsp Preminced garlic or 2 1/2 Cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 cup Cooked pasta of your choice
  • 3 oz Cooked shrimp
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbs Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Follow the same instructions as the original recipe for sautéing the garlic and margarine.
  2. Add the cooked shrimp to the saute pan.
  3. Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the pan. Stir to coat the shrimp.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss until well combined with the shrimp and garlic mixture.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the lemon garlic shrimp pasta on a plate and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Variation 2: Creamy Garlic Shrimp Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbs Light margarine
  • 1 tsp Preminced garlic or 2 1/2 Cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 cup Cooked pasta of your choice
  • 3 oz Cooked shrimp
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Freshly grated Romano cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Follow the same instructions as the original recipe for sautéing the garlic and margarine.
  2. Add the cooked shrimp to the saute pan.
  3. Pour the heavy cream into the pan and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Romano cheese (if using) until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss until well coated with the creamy garlic shrimp sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the creamy garlic shrimp Alfredo pasta on a plate and garnish with chopped fresh basil.

Variation 3: Shrimp and Roasted Vegetable Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbs Light margarine
  • 1 tsp Preminced garlic or 2 1/2 Cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 cup Cooked pasta of your choice
  • 3 oz Cooked shrimp
  • 1 cup Roasted vegetables (such as bell peppers, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes)
  • 1 Tbs Balsamic vinegar
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Fresh basil leaves, torn, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Follow the same instructions as the original recipe for sautéing the garlic and margarine.
  2. Add the cooked shrimp to the saute pan.
  3. Add the roasted vegetables to the pan and toss with the shrimp and garlic.
  4. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the shrimp and vegetables and stir to combine.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss until well mixed with the shrimp, vegetables, and garlic sauce.
  6. Serve the shrimp and roasted vegetable pasta on a plate and garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and torn basil leaves.
