- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
- 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (14½ ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh cilantro
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a Dutch oven or large stockpot over medium-high heat, brown the pork on all sides in 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Once browned, remove the meat and set it aside, keeping it warm.
