Guava and ginger combine in this glaze for a bright tropical flavor profile that is wonderful for homemade donuts, sweet fritters like beignet or even scones. It is particularly good on banana cake.

INGREDIENTS
- 1½ tbsp (22 ml) water
- 1¼ tsp (6 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tsp (3 g) powdered ginger
- ¼ cup (60 ml) guava jelly
- 2 cups (240 g) powdered sugar
PREPARATION
- Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk well.
- Simmer the mixture for 7 to 8 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Use the glaze on your favorite donut, beignet, or scone. Enjoy!
