Serves :2
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 head cauliflower
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- Sea salt (optional)
- Garlic powder (optional)
- Ginger powder (optional)
- Ground black pepper (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut the cauliflower into small florets and remove any tough stems.
- Place the cauliflower florets into a food processor and pulse it several times until it reaches a grainy, rice-like consistency. Be careful not to over-process it into a puree.
- Heat a large sauté pan over high heat and add the coconut oil. Let it melt and coat the bottom of the pan.
- Add the riced cauliflower to the pan and sauté over medium-high heat. You can also add any optional seasonings at this point, such as sea salt, garlic powder, ginger powder, or ground black pepper, to enhance the flavor.
- Cook the cauliflower for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until it becomes tender but not mushy. Adjust the seasoning to taste, if needed.
- Remove the sautéed cauliflower from the pan and serve hot as a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional rice.
