Servings: 4
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 lb Spaghetti or rotini
- 6 Tbs Margarine or unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup Finely chopped green onions
- 2 tsp Poultry Magic or Piz & past.
- 2 cup Half & Half or heavy cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions just until it reaches the al dente stage.
- Immediately drain the cooked pasta and rinse it with hot water to remove excess starch. Then rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process. Drain the pasta again. (To prevent sticking, you can lightly coat the pasta with a small amount of oil after rinsing.)
- In a large skillet, melt the margarine over medium heat.
- Add the Poultry Magic or Piz & past. seasoning blend to the melted margarine. Saute the seasoning blend for about 1 minute to enhance the flavors, stirring occasionally.
- Add the finely chopped green onions to the skillet and saute for 1 to 2 minutes, continuing to stir.
- Gradually pour the half & half or heavy cream into the skillet, either stirring or shaking the pan in a back and forth motion until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to medium and let the sauce simmer until it thickens slightly, approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Continue shaking the pan or stirring the sauce to prevent sticking.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss and stir until the pasta is thoroughly heated through, about 2 minutes. The pasta should be well coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve the creamy pasta immediately and enjoy this delicious dish!
